*SUPPLEMENTAL* Geometry B (Kilian, D. SHS T3)

Welcome Geometry B Students!!!

Mr. Kilian & Ms. Beyer

We are your 2020 QuaranTeachers

We miss you guys so much and cannot wait to reconnect with you through this virtual learning platform. Stay tuned for regular videos and fun from both of us...

Most of the work we are doing is in the Modules, so use that as your guide.

However, much of the content will also show up on your calendar - either as a reminder of where to look or a link to the actual materials.

Now, for this week we are continuing the Supplementary Work. These skills are HUGEly important as a foundation for you to be awesome as we move into Geometry B coursework.  This week, as you work on completing this supplementary work - your Geometry teachers (Kilian - Wiley - McKennett - Ulrich - Beyer) are working on creating the first steps in your Distance Learning work for Geometry B, starting with Complete the Square and moving from there. The supplemental work will not be counted as part of your grade - but is to be used as a tool for you and for us teachers to identify any math struggles you have coming in. So please do your best on these...it's good knowledge and the videos and practice have some really good info for you.

Your teachers are all excited, but also nervous and a little overwhelmed, as we shift from the joys we find in seeing you and teaching you all in our classroom every day - and moving it to an online platform that will be doable by all of you and finding ways for us to support you in any struggles you may have. As we have all been telling you - we are learning and growing in this together - don't hesitate to share your questions with us...we want to help you navigate these waters.

So please start by really making your supplemental skills strong this week as you build in the routine of this new online adventure in learning.

Miss you all!!!

Beyond all this...academically - be engaged in all we are doing.  Have fun, ask questions, connect with your classmates, and simply explore the course.  You will see, down the road, that many college classes use similar platforms for their learning.  And with a lot of the trades, they are using more and more online materiel like this in their programs with managing their required learning and skill building.
